Mysterious Questions of Love

Why is it that when your child comes to you, says hello with a small expectation that dad will play with me, and you are not even looking at him. What the hell are you thinking? Why you are not able to give the love to your beloved ones? What is going on your mind? If you are not able to listen to the voices of your dear ones, Who'll listen to your voice? The most important thing in your life is your family. You do not have a choice, you have a family. And Family is not a choice. Family is your life line.

Principles of Learning

What are the principles based on which the learning process is governed?
I found the answers on wikipedia. There are three basic principles given by Edward Thorndike an American Psychologist.
1) Readiness: You should be physically, mentally and emotionally ready and eagerto learn.
2) Exercise: Things most often repeated are best remembered.
3) Effect: This refers to an emotional reaction of a student.Learning is strenghthened when accompanied by a feeling of satisfaction basically feel good factor. You should feel pleasent about what you are trying to learn.
The additional three principles added since Thorndike are as follows
4) Primacy: a little difficult one to understand. Primacy, state of being first. What ever you learn first time should be correct and complete in all manners. Becasue that forms your perception. It is very difficult to unlearn wrong things and learn new things.
5) Recency: Things most recently learned are best remembered. Frequent reviews and summarization help fix in the mind the concept which is being tauht or learned.
6) Intensity: A sharp, vivid, dramatic and exciting learning experience teaches more than a traditional routine or boring experience.
